The homework we have for Friday is about a traditional food in our country.
I will speak about swedish pea soup, that is served with swedish warm Punsch and pancakes afterwards.
Let me quote August Strindberg: ” The dish from the Gods” pea soup was his favorite food.
Now I will lean back in the sofa, enjoy a movie and draw something.

ΑΛΛΑ…. Σημερα είναι μια πολύ ωραία μέρα και για αυτό πήγα στο παρκό της Αθήνας. Λοιπον, όταν είμαι στο παρκό, τότε οι μπατεριες δεν λοιτουργει…………………. Αλλά πήρα καποιες φοτογραφιες και θα σου δείξω
Το παρκο ειναι πολύ ωραίο. Το νιωθω σαν είναι μια ”escape to the nature”.

I went to the library today because I wanted to read, but when i got there, they where close because of strike… At least I met my friend there!!! So we went for lunch.
Tomorrow I have my Swedish meeting!!!! Me and my friend will go and eat before I have the Swedish meeting. I hope they are not planning to eat, its nine in the evening, or are they all Greeks and wants to eat then?

My parents are coming the 19th November, they will stay the weekend and then return to Sweden. I am looking so much forward to meet my parents!
The 17th November I have been told to stay inside my apartment all day because of riots here in Exarcheia. In the 70s when lots of student got killed because they said no to the dictatorship.
I got lots of homework so I think I will have to put up a tent at the library of the University.
Alsooooooooooooooooooo!!! It was ”Men in tights” the other day on the TV ! I looooooove it soooooooo much, It is so silly.
I bought an Arkas comic , it was with the shark. That was the only one the store had. I had a veeeeeeeeeeeery cozy Saturday evening, I had some kokkino krasi, I read in the Arkas comic plus I finished a book I bought.
When I was sleeping I woke up and it smelled smoke!!!! I got scared and I thought it was burning at some of my neighboors appartment so I went out to see what it was. I walked around the corner, it was ”just” a car burning. Phew!

Here is my eye report:
– My eye is not red
– It is swollen
– It doesnt hurt
– It just feels little warm and juicy.
So today I look like Quasimodo and not the evil eye from lord of the rings.
I prefer looking like Quasimodo so I wont go to the doctor today.
Ahhhhhh…. when I woke up this morning I rememberd the 20 euros I thought was bus tickets.. Can’t beleive I accidentaly threw them… I will have to imagine that I bought something really nice with them. Forexample that the Cavafy book costed 20 euro instead of 2 euro…
Now I will go to the Univeristy !

Me and my friend was on an adventure last night! She droped her Belgium phone so I called it and I wrote a textmessage to the phone that who ever finds it please contact me. Sooo after me and L had been out eating last night her Belgium phone calls to my phone! The persons who had find it told us to meet them at Golden H hotel. We first thought it was at Syntagma. In Syntagma we asked a woman in a periptero where Golden H Hotel is, she points down and say deksia. But… there was no Golden H Hote! We had to ask some guards at a mall, they called around and asked where the hotel is. It was apperantly close to the Hilton hotel. We took a cab there and guess what? Her phone is now back all safe in her hands!
I bought an Arkas comic!!! I think it is amazing, I mean the pictures in it is perfect and the best of all: I understand some jokes!
11/19/10 I just came home from Kifissia! We had a crazy funny time. We rented an english movie and it wasnt easy to rent! We spent 40 minuts in the videostore to be able to rent. The videostore needed our phonebill to let us rent. WHO IS WALKING AROUND WITH THEIR PHONEBILL IN THEIR BAG????????? But in any case none of us had a Greek home phone…… buuuuuuut after a while we gave them 50 euro just to rent a movie! Of course we will get the money back when we return the movie, the money were just a ”security” for the videostore to know that we will return the movie. The movie we rented was ”Remember me ” . The girl working in the videostore said: ”Do you really want to pay this much just to rent this movie? ” Hahaha… My friend had never been so sure, she had to see .
It is late and eimai kourasmeni. I cant belive my parents are coming tomorrow! YAY! I have to go to bed now and get some good rest. KALYNYXTA

We found Cavafy at the fleamarket today! We bought one book each and the best part: ITHAKA WAS IN IT!!!!!!!!!! That poem is the best.
Also, we did the same bracelet. I bought her one bracelet and she bought me one. We then decided to give eachother the bracelets when we had our own little cermony (and that would be the lunch)
While we waited for lunch we translated Ithaka!!! It was a really nice time.
Yesterday I met girl from Germany, her english is perfect! It sounds like she is from Amerika. We had rakomelo and then we bought a beer each. We climbed up on these high ”boxes” that are at Monistriaki square, there we sat and enjoyed the view of Akropolis at night.
My throat hurts! I think its the same I had a week ago when I didnt feel very good. Hopefully it will disapear soon!

I still dont have any internet at home! But some Greeks are really nice ! They are very willingly to help if I mention I have problem with it. They even call customerservice!
Yesterday me and L were laughing a lot during the break and when we were back in classroom the teacher asked us: ”what are you two laughing about all the time?” and she said we laughed about the gramatiki. And that was partly true. Who knew Greek grammar could be so fun!
I caaaaaaaant belive so many that smokes here! Even our teacher smokes in the class room while we had break, she lighted a cigarette and asked a student to join her! That was really surprising to see. ENA MEGALO SOK . But! She is my favorite teacher here, she is very good.
Also! On a resturant here in Athens earlier today I saw it stood written on a sign outside: ”Edo kapnizoume!”
Isn’t it forbidden by law now??? To smoke inside?

Go Aristoteles!
So I have been in, Zurich, Copenhagen, Muhich and ofcourse Greece and Sweden- that is five countries in five days!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not bad.
I arrived in Athens today! Not the best day to pick with the 24 hours strike and because of that when I came out from the airport there where a huge line of people that wanted to take the taxi. But I managed good. It went fast and smooth. When I came to Exarcheia there were some things burning. I am getting used to it now. Though…. I know it havent been a nice day here in Athens. My mum was worried!
Zappa is now 10 centimeters shorter!
We where packing our things to leave the snowy cottage and go back to Eslöv. Zappa jumped in to the car. And because of the cold it makes the backdoor loose or how to say, I mean it closes it self. So Zappa jumped in and the door came right on his tail !!! He started to bleed a lot!
We went to the vet there and they kept him for some hours, they had to sew him and take off ten centimeters from the tail …
How Zappa screamed! I have never heared such a sound! And so loud. It went straight in to my heart, so hurtfull it was to hear..
It feels good to be back in Athens again, but I feel that I want to be with Zappa now when he is not feeling good. I knooooow he is just a dog and he will be fine. I cant explain!
